GLASS TAPE
Conversations from the PACIN LISTServe

Question:
I am trying to find a better tape for taping glass. Right now we use a 12" masking tape, and it seems to be to high a tack. Does anyone have a preference?

  • We use a low tack frisket paper from Bron Tapes. You can order it cut to different widths and there is a branch in Texas, too.

  • Dear Kelly,
We use PE Tape (low density polyethylene) without glue. Its static effects will tack on the glass. Hope this can help.

  • I get ours from HBM Supply out of Dallas, TX. Owner is John Moreno his work number is 214.750.4805 and his cell is 214.675.0617. He is a personal friend and has been selling tape for 20 years and his company deals with specialty tapes.
